The Pufahl Farricker Spirit ride aims to inspire the Ultimate community to give back and reconnect. To date over $100,000 has been raised for ALS and Cancer research and hospice care, and to endow the Spirit of the Game awards given in Kathy's and Pete's names at the USAU Club Championships. Pufahl Farricker Spirit Foundation

The mission of the Pufahl Farricker Spirit Foundation is to honor the memories of Peter Farricker and Kathy Pufahl. Pete’s zest for life and Kathy’s loving determination moved those who knew them and remain inspirational touchstones.

To date, the Foundation has raised over $100,000 for ALS and Cancer research and hospice care and an endowment for the annual awarding of the Farricker and Pufahl Spirit Awards.

The Pufahl Farricker Spirit Foundation is a non-profit 501C3 organization governed by an all-volunteer board: Steve Mooney (Chair), Bill McAvoy (Secretary), Phil Adams (Treasurer), Myke Farricker, Steve Gustafson, Brian Murphy, Edith Thurber and Finlay Waugh.
