Sounds like a special day around the country. The sun shone for us in Mill Valley and Stinson Beach. Our small group (Howard Jaffe, son Matt Jaffe, Tony Zwieg & Margaret Swartz, and Steve Courlang - Three Former Flying Circus players) met in dowtown Mill Valley (which was the same location of the Start of the 100th anniversay of the Dipsea Race )
We rode/climbed over Mt. Tam (over 3500 feet of climbing today) to Stinson beach, where we tossed the disc, jumped in the Ocean, ate Elizabeth's (Howard's wife, Matt's Mom) delicious lunch, shared stories, and toasted Wheels and Kathy. To me, the day felt like going back twenty years in time - hanging out with Ultimate teammates, getting exercise, and laughing. Both the Spirit of the Game and the spirits of Wheels and Kathy were felt.
