DC Bike Party Presents: The Pufahl Farricker Washington DC Spirit Ride (proceeds to Ultimate Peace)

Next Sunday, September 22nd, come take part in a community bike ride and fundraiser through the streets of DC. As part of the national fundraiser Pufahl Farricker Spirit Ride, supporting Ultimate Peace and the concept of Spirit of the Game, and in collaboration with DC Bike Party, the ride will take place over 1.5-2 hours and is open and accessible to all levels of riders. The event itself is free but there will be swag available for purchase and a suggested donation to the (Pufahl Farricker Spirit Foundation) is encouraged but not required.


Who's Who:

The Pufahl Farricker Spirit Foundation: an organization founded in honor of Peter "Wheels" Farricker and Kathy Pufahl, two legends in the Ultimate Frisbee community who passed before their time, and whose memories live on in the annual awards given to the players at Nationals who best exemplify the core Ultimate principle of Spirit of the Game. Ultimate Peace: An international non-profit that brings together Israeli and Palestinian youths through ultimate frisbee, in the process building relationships and teaching Conflict Resolution through the core values of Mutual Respect, Non-Violence and Fun. DC Bike Party: A regular, monthly, volunteer-led bike ride in Washington, DC.
